The Newport Beach Breakers will draft their team for the 2006 season. The draft will take place in Miami, Florida at the NASDAQ-100 Open.

Join us as we honor the men and women of the Newport Beach Police Department who help make our city the desired place in which to live and do business. The 35th Annual Police Appreciation Breakfast, sponsored by Wells Fargo, will take place on Thursday, March 23 from 7:15-9:00 a.m. at the Hyatt Regency Newport Beach (1107 Jamboree Road, Newport Beach.)

The Police Appreciation Breakfast is open to the public, and cost to attend is $30. Table sponsorships are $375 for a table of 12 (table accommodates 8 guests and 4 officers) and include table signage and recognition in the official printed program and on the projection screens. WHALE-WATCHING

Don Moseley aboard the 45' sailing vessel DULCINEA for whale-watching and sailing along the Southern California coast as the 35-ton gray whales make their annual migration from Alaskan to Baja waters, November through January. Then, after breeding and birthing in the Baja bays and lagoons, they return north February through April. Unusual for this area, the huge,and shy, 100+foot blue whales have also been sighted recently, about 8 miles offshore.
