We have an outing scheduled for practically every month this year! Saturday, January 21 Gathering time at the spa: 9am Bike ride begins at approx. 9:15am The path of the ride will be from the spa around Newport Center Dr. to the Marriott, then west on Santa Barbara to Jamboree. North on Jamboree to San Joaquin. West on San Joaquin to the Back Bay scenic drive. We will retrace our path back to the spa. The journey will take 1 - 1.5 hours. The level of the riding ability will be equal to that of someone who can comfortably ride for about 1 hour. This will NOT be a race. The intent is to get some "long slow distance" exercise - not hard racing exercise. We want to help circulation, and burn some fat, while we are at that. We will be keeping our heart rate in the fat burning range - 50% - 85% of X. (X being 220 - your age). Check our website soon for our new Wellness Rocks! homepage that will feature our monthly outings, seminars, trend related health articles, healthy recipes and more!
