| Newport Harbor Nautical Museum presents Children's Art Weekend! |

Each child (16 and under) that comes to the museum and draws his or her favorite nautical picture will be automatically entered to win a brand new Sabot Sailboat! Everyone has the same chance of winning the boat plus each child will be awarded an "Artist" participation ribbon! All art material will be provided at the museum.

http://www.scma.com SCMA's 2004 Boat Show at the Dunes in Newport Beach promises to be one of the nation's largest in-water displays.
The grand family event will cater to a wide range of boating enthusiasts with more than 300 vessels in the marina and at least 200 on the grounds, plus thousands of boating accessories, family activities and entertainment, as well as a variety of food and beverage choices. A number of large sailboat displays will also be staged at the nearby Newport Harbor Nautical Museum with private water taxis transporting attendees to and from the Dunes.

There will be environmental exhibits, arts and crafts activities for the children, free boat tours and nature education stations where young and old alike can learn about the natural history of the Bay. Newport Beach Mayor Tod Ridgeway is Honorary Chair for this event. He will give an official welcome at noon.

| Upper Newport Bay GREAT EARTH WALK |

http://www.newportbay.org Upper Newport Bay will be the main Orange County Site for the Great Earth Walk. Walkers will have the choice of walking at the Peter and Mary Muth Interpretive Center on the west side of the Bay, or on Back Bay Drive on the east side of the Bay starting at either Shellmaker Island or Eastbluff.
