In the Early 20th Century, the Collyer brothers live in relative obscurity in their Park Avenue mansion. Langley is a pianist who performs rarely but successfully, and Homer’s job is to keep him from squandering the family fortune. One evening after a concert, they return with a beautiful young socialite in tow. But a peculiar lifestyle is developing as a growing accumulation of rubbish fills the mansion.
