| Anaheim Storm Announce New Home Games |
February 26, 2005 - April 15, 2005
Today, the National Lacrosse League announced changes to the 2005 schedule. Please note three changes to the Anaheim Storm home game schedule:
Anaheim vs. Colorado is moved to March 4th at 7:30pm Pacific (previously February 26th)
Anaheim vs. Toronto is moved to March 13th at 2pm Pacific (previously March 12th)
Anaheim vs. San Jose is moved to March 26th, time TBD (previously April 2nd)
The 2005 All-Star Game in Calgary will take place on February 26th and air live on NBC at 11am Pacific.
Individual home game tickets start at just $10. They are on sale now at the Arrowhead Pond Box Office, ticketmaster.com and all Ticketmaster outlets. The Privateers LYNX and the SPIRIT of DANA POINT
will engage in a 3-hour high seas battle to the finish.
About the 1812 PRIVATEER LYNX The 122 -foot square topsail schooner LYNX is an interpretation of a privateer or naval schooner from the War of 1812. She is fitted with period ordnance and flies pennants and flags from the 1812 era making her one of the first ships to defend our freedom.
LYNX was used to train the cast and crew of the movie
Pirates of the Caribbean.
About the SPIRIT of DANA POINT The 118 - foot schooner Spirit of Dana Point is a replica of a Baltimore Clipper Schooner. A Fast Privateer from the period when America fought for our Independence.
Feel and hear the roar of each ship's cannons as both LYNX and the SPIRIT of DANA POINT tack and maneuver into position. Join us and experience first hand, the fun and excitement of 19th century ship-to-ship sea battle.

| Orange County Museum of Art presents Beautiful Losers |
February 6, 2005 - May 8, 2005
Beautiful Losers: Contemporary Art and Street Culture is a first of its kind exhibition of art and design celebrating the extraordinary creative production and cultural influence of youth cultures. Skateboarding, graffiti, and punk have not only affected fashion, music, literature, and film, they have inspired a generation of young artists who identify with the iconoclastic lifestyle and counter-culture stance of these creative forces born from the street. In addition to including works in all media by more than 50 artists, Beautiful Losers includes music, album covers, skateboards, and “zines” that reveal the spirit and vitality of street culture and its expanding influence.
The unifying traits of these young artists, whose styles and distribution channels still remain largely outside of the art world, include an interest in pop culture iconography, a sense of the absurd, and a strong do-it-yourself attitude. Beautiful Losers traces the early influences on this new generation of artists, filmmakers, and designers, and explores the broader cultural trends that inform their work.

| The Newport Beach Public Library Presents "Chuck Jones Exhibit and Lecture" |

Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Pepe Le Pew, Wile E. Coyote and other famous cartoon characters will line the foyer of Newport Beach Central Library as part of a Chuck Jones Exhibit, on display during March and April 2005. In addition, Jones’ daughter, Linda, will present a retrospective talk about her father, his art and life, at 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 9 as part of the 2005 Arts Lectures, Workshops and Performances Series hosted by the City Arts Commission. The lecture will be held in the Friends Meeting Room at the Central Library, 1000 Avocado Avenue, Newport Beach.
Chuck Jones, a longtime Newport Beach resident until his death in 2002, created dozens of beloved characters and over 300 animated cartoons and films, including Looney Tunes’ Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Elmer Fudd and Porky Pig, as well as Road Runner, Wile E. Coyote, Pep Le Pew, Hubie & Bertie, Tom & Jerry, and many others. His daughter, Linda Jones, who recently retired as CEO of Linda Jones Enterprises, an animation art distribution company, is actively involved in the Chuck Jones Center for Creativity, a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering and encouraging the expression of artistic creativity among young people.
