About the Newport Beach Conference & Visitors Bureau

The Newport Beach Conference & Visitors Bureau was chartered under California law as an incorporated organization on April 18, 1975. As the visitor and conference business continued to grow in importance for Newport Beach it was reincorporated and established its own by-laws on April 5, 1989. The Bureau has been guided by a Board of Directors composed of community leaders in the visitor and hospitality industry.

The Bureau is funded by both the City of Newport Beach and from private sector facilities and service companies identified with the hospitality and the visitor industry throughout our area. The Bureau's main purpose is to solicit conferences and other group business to Newport Beach and to offer special select services to those groups. Additionally, an equal purpose is the promotion of tourism to our area.
